Well- some exciting news this week!
Lucas got here last night and won't be leaving again without me or Dakota!! WOO HOO!!
Had to take pictures because I was so excited that I won't have to say goodbye to him again!!! Yay!
So our next appointment will be this Monday so we will see if there has been any change since Tuesday (our previous appointment). We are starting to think that Dakota wishes to be a due date baby, like her daddy and 10% of other babies born! We shall see!! Nothing much else to update this week really. Just still very uncomfortable and fatigued. Dakota seems to be thriving off of my lack of energy because she is still moving around like crazy in here! I will give an update on Monday after the appointment- everyone cross your fingers that we have made change!!!! Quite possibly the last belly pics here and update on baby girl! Your Baby in Week 39 of Pregnancy Coming down to the wire, your baby weighs around seven to eight pounds and measures 19 to 21 inches. Those measurements won't change much from now on, but her brain is still growing at an astonishing rate, a pace that will continue for the first three years of life. Her pink skin has now turned whitish (even babies who'll eventually have darker skin appear whitish now — they haven't yet developed pigment). Her head may have dropped into your pelvis by now, which makes your breathing easier but walking harder.
