So despite me being sick since thursday, Lucas and I went with Kaila and Cory to The New York State sheep and wool festival in Rhinebeck. The ride for us was about 45 minutes from home so I got to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage! There were quite a few activities there- We chose to go to "Pumpkin Chuckin'", A demonstration of a Border collie sheep herder, we saw a sheep judging which was interesting and made me smile because all you heard was the sheep bahing :) - Overall we had a great time and walked A LOT!
Heres a few pics for you all to enjoy too ( I wish you could actually experience the beauty as I did, Pictures dont do it justice!)
So as some of you may know I also went to the Drs yesterday. I was worried about all of the pressure I had been feeling when going from sitting to standing- It wouldn't have bothered me except for the fact that it had gone on for a good two weeks and I just couldn't get used to it.
They told me to come in and everything turned out perfect, she just said that some people carry really low- in her words "Get used to it because it will only get worse!" Haha I even got to hear the peanuts heart beat- it was perfect at 148bpm & My blood pressure was perfect too! They weigh you whenever you go in and I think the last time I posted my weight I was 147?
Well Now im .....ready for this??!! 151lbs! I have officially gained a total of 25lbs!
Well thats all I have to report this week- Heres some info about the peanut and this weeks belly pics- I have bonus pics because I took some myself and then Lucas took some fully body ones for me too!
Thanks for reading!!!
Your Baby's Growth
Your baby is approximately 1 1/4 pounds and is 8"-10" in length. This is an active time, with lots of movement going on. With a handheld Fetal Doppler, your healthcare provider will be able to pick up the heartbeat of your baby. This common, painless test uses sound waves to listen to the blood going through your baby's heart, allowing you to listen to the heartbeat. It is without a doubt, one of the sweetest sounds of pregnancy. Your baby's heartbeat will be very fast -- it is usually twice the average rate of an adult, varying between 110 bpm and 170 bpm (beats per minute).
you know looking at your pictures, Compared to mine, you are carrying her A LOT lower then I was. So I can understand how you are feeling a lot of pressure.
